I am all about fluffy creamy dreamy smoothie bowls... as long as there's a little crunch on top! ya know to let my body know that I'm eating food and not just liquid. So this bowl was made with that in mind. I wanted it to be extremely "nice-creamy" and I also knew I wanted some granola, cacao nibs and coconut on top. Yes, I plan this all out ahead of time accoridng in my mind before creating. OCD, hollaaaaaa. this was the perfect combination of creamy and crunchy and so freakin' satisfying.
here it is, and here's what I did to create this masterpiece..
INGREDIENTS:
easy AF. throw all your ingredients into your Vitamix, except for cacao nibs. blend on high for about 2 minutes and during the last 10 seconds throw in cacao nibs so they don't fully blend. then pour out and top with the goods!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 frozen ripe banana
- 1 cup frozen steamed cauliflower
- 1 cup frozen steamed butternut squash
- 1/2 cup cold organic coffee (I keep leftover coffee stored in the fridge in a mason jar)
- 1/4 cup homemade raw cashew milk
- 1 scoop Mettrum Originals raw chocolate hemp protein powder
- 1 TSP Simply Organic cinnamon
- 1 TSP Simpy Organic turmeric
- 2 TBSP Artisana Organic raw coconut butter
- 1 TBSP OMG Superfoods sacha inchi powder
- 1 TBSP Navitas Organics cacao powder
- 1 TBSP Divine Organics cacao nibs
- toppings: Purely Elizabeth granola, Divine Organics cacao nibs + unsweetened coconut, Better Body Foods peanut butter powder (mix with water)
