I love trying new things, this was the first time I've ever poached an egg before believe it or not. I'm not quite sure why I waited so long to try it out but thank the heavens I finally jumped on the band wagon. One of my favorite bloggers @shutthekaleup just recently posted a "turmeric poached egg" it looked delicious so obviously I had to try it out myself. SO FRICKEN GOOD. Poached eggs are my new favorite thing. Also anything turmeric and I'm in. I've posted about my love for turmeric before so you all should know by now that I have turmeric at least once a day whether it's in my bullet proof coffee, bone broth, stir fry or on top of eggs! Some health benefits of turmeric include: helps prevent cancer, it's anti-inflammatory and it helps improve brain function. It's definately one of my favorite superfoods. ANYWAY ya'll have got to make this egg.

Recipe:
fill a small pot half way with water, bring water to a medium boil and add in vinegar, turmeric and white pepper and stir well. next crack your egg and gently place into water. turn off heat and cover for 4 minutes. toast your bred, slice some avo and place it on top. once egg is finished, spoon it out and place on top of toast. sprinkle with pink salt and if your a fan of spice add some organic chili flakes on top and you're done!

- 1/2 an avocado
- 1 TSP pink salt
- 1 TBSP Whole Foods white pepper
